Let me start by saying, I have never been in 14 Parish Restaurant and Rhum Bar to dine, mostly because parking can be a little tough to find in the area; especially later in the day. However, I’ve eaten carryout from the restaurant via UberEats multiple times.

So far from the menu, I’ve tried the jerk catfish, pineapple cilantro rice, steamed cabbage, jalapeño mac & cheese, Caribbean jerk chicken wings, cream style cornbread, and caramel rum cake. Everything has tasted delicious. For delivery, the food is packaged very well.

The jerk seasoning is heavy on the fish, and the mac and cheese isn’t overwhelmingly spicy, which is a plus for me. The pineapple cilantro rice is refreshing, and works well during summer as well as anytime of the year.

Although it’s called caramel rum cake, I tasted more caramel then rum, but it’s still delicious. I’ll provide an update on more of the menu items once I venture in the dining area.
