Owned and operated by Angela Vaughn, Plus Size in Chicago was launched in January 2017, and highlighted non-diversity and exclusion towards the plus-size community in everyday normal activities. From knowing which rides to get on at widely-known amusement parks and concert venues, to dealing with sitting in coach on major airline carriers.

The following year, Plus Size in Chicago embraced being a foodie and began exploring restaurants and other hot spots in Chicago and beyond. Angela spotlights foods and drinks at popular restaurants and shares recipes of her favorite meals.

Now, Plus Size in Chicago is an online hub celebrating the vibrant food culture of Chicago while embracing size inclusivity. Featuring an engaging mix of foodie reviews, personal blog posts, and curated recipes, this website is designed for those who appreciate great food and self-expression.
