Foodie Review: Oooh Wee! It Is!

There are a lot of restaurants on the south side of Chicago that cater to the “black experience”.  Ooh Wee! It Is! is another soulfood restaurant, but what makes it stands out is the attention to flavor and presentation.  

For approximately a year, I’ve been following Ooh Wee! It Is! on Instagram, checking out the various dishes like their Hennessey Wings, fried green tomatoes, pot roast, lamp chops, lobster tails, greens, shrimp and grits, and oxtails. I’ve never gone inside, but the folks hanging out on the swings seem to have a lot of fun!
