Ingredients
- 10 oz farfalle pasta
Creamy Pasta Sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 slices thick bacon
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/3 cup frozen peas
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- optional – parsley and red pepper
Instructions
- To cook pasta, follow instructions on pasta box.
- Diced bacon. On medium-low, cook bacon until it's brown.
- In a separate skillet, add olive oil and sauté mushrooms and garlic for 5 mins. Add bacon with fat from the other skillet. Mix in frozen peas.
- Mix in Italian seasoning, grated parmesan cheese and chicken bouillon.
- Stir in both heavy whipping cream and milk. Simmer for 5 mins.
- Mix in pasta and cover. Once the pasta is boiling, stir well and cook for 5 more mins.
- Optional – top with parsley and red pepper.
