Foodie Review: Azul Mariscos

Azul Mariscos is located in the Goose Island neighborhood along the Chicago river. It’s take on Latin-inspired seafood is done in a beautiful and tasty style.

I set a goal at the beginning of 2023 to visit one “new-to-me” Mexican restaurant each month. These restaurants have been around for years, but for some reason, I’ve never visited. Azul Mariscos is number two on the list.

The night I decided to go was cold and snowy, but they greet you with a shot of alcohol when you first arrive. Because of health reasons I had to decline, but what a great way to get the night started if that’s your thing!

From the menu, we ate the Lobster Empanadas, Chilean Sea Bass, and Seafood Enchiladas. All absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.
