Foodie Review: RH Rooftop Restaurant Oak Brook

I had a wonderful time at RH, dining with fellow foodies. RH has been on my list for a while and it didn’t disappoint. I’ve seen the location pop up on my Instagram feed multiple times. The ambiance, decor and food makes it a place to visit for brunch or dinner. RH is located in the Oakbrook Mall, which means no need to search for parking, there’s plenty. Although the restaurant is on the 3rd floor, there are stairs and elevators.

However, the food and drink menu doesn’t have a lot to choose from, and the options are pretty pricey. I dined on the shrimp cocktail, lobster roll, and truffle fries. I don’t drink a much alcohol, so I opted for the ginger beer – although it’s soda, there’s no free refills. As I mentioned earlier, it’s prIcey, so be mentally prepared to spin some moola, but I think it does keep the riff-raff out.

If you know you’re going to be in the area, make reservations, do some shopping, catch a movie and check out the restaurant.
