Foodie Review: Virtue Restaurant

160

Virtue Restaurant and Bar is a delicious option if you’re looking for a southern restaurant with a great spin on comfort food in the Hyde Park neighborhood.  The environment is classy, cozy, and inviting experience. From the attentive waitstaff, open kitchen, and the deliciousness of the food, it’s a great place to go with friends or business meetings.

Last year, I visited Chef Erick Williams’ neighboring restaurant, Daisy Po’Boy and Tavern, and it also didn’t disappointment.  Most of the food at Virtue has a nice size portion. Both cornbread and vanilla bean bread pudding are shareable, but the Fried Green Tomatoes and Blackened Catfish, you’ll want to eat all to yourself!

For health reasons, I’m unable to drink alcohol, but Virtue has a delicious Cranberry Crush Mocktail that I thoroughly enjoyed!

If you decide to visit, it’s best to make reservations and during the weeknight as sitting is taken really fast.
