Whether it’s dine-in, carry-out or delivery, Chicagoans have their favorite places to go for pizza, but during COVID-19, Lou Malnati’s became one of my favorites!
Oh Chicago-style pizza, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways!!!
- Tavern style
- Regular thin crust
- Stuffed
- Deep Dish
(yeah there’s a difference between 1 and 2 AND 3 and 4)
Lou Malnati’s helped me survive restaurant closures in Chicago during the pandemic, and it’s all because they had the glorious curbside pickup with the fantastic online ordering system. I was able to order what toppings I want on the left or right side of the pizza, or the whole pizza. This ordering system has always been there, but adding my vehicle make/model/color on the ticket and a wonderful employee bringing my pizza piping hot to my car, makes everything even more satisfying!
UPDATE: As of June 1, 2021, Lou Malnati’s has stopped the curb-side pick up, but online ordering is still available.
According to their website, there’s over 57 locations in the Chicagoland area.
