Seasoning Rub (sprinkle a little of each - no exact measurement)
olive oil
seasoning salt
curry powder (salt-free)
dried thyme leaves
black pepper
paprika
Curry Sauce
1/2mediumonion (sliced)
1tbspminced garlic
1tspchicken bouillon
1½tspcurry powder
1½tspbrown sugar
1tspcorn starch
1cupwater
¼cupapple juice
1cupheavy cream
Instructions
Prep Pork Chops
Rinse pork chops and pat dry. Place on a cookie sheet.
Drizzle olive oil on both sides of the pork chops. Sprinkle seasonings: seasoning salt, curry powder, thyme, black pepper and paprika.
On medium heat, using a large skillet, add butter and olive oil.
You'll cook the pork chops in batches. Place 2 pork chops in the skillet and cook for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side. Place the pork chops on a plate and set aside. Repeat for the next batch. Please note: the pork chops won't be completely done.
Curry Sauce
Using the same skillet, add sliced onions and minced garlic. Mix in curry, chicken bouillon, brown sugar and corn starch.
Using a whisk, stir in water, apple juice, and heavy cream.
Add the pork chops back into the pan and cover with a top.
