It’s June 21, 2024, and I’m finally attending night one of Justin Timberlake’s – The Forget Tomorrow World Tour in Chicago. I bought these tickets back in January 2024 and it feels as if this day would never arrive!
I have all of Justin’s solo albums. It’s been several years since he recorded a studio album that wasn’t related to an animated movie. His latest album, Everything I Thought It Was, was released on Friday, March 15, and I’ve gladly listened to it several times within one day! I’m a huge Justin Timberlake fan, and I’ve seen him previously in concert, each time in Chicago. The first time was with Jay-Z at the Legends of Summer tour at Soldier Field. The second time was the Man of the Woods tour at the Allstate Arena.
A few weeks prior to Justin coming to Chicago, he was arrested on a DUI charge. Thankfully no one was involved or hurt. I was glad that he was able to continue his tour, and he addressed this issue during the concert too.
The concert started with a DJ who played a lot of millennial and Gen X hits. The main screen is changing with tons of art work, and then there’s a road that appears to be getting closer and closer to a door. Finally it opens and the concert begins!
